Day out at the Austrian club

On Sunday a friend of mine Phillip asked me to go to an Austrian club in Heidelberg with him and his family which I couldn’t pass on. So on Sunday I dragged my lazy butt out of bed and got myself around to his place. We left for Heidelberg about 11 o’clock ready for a day of great music and entertainment.

When we got there, there were a few people already there, we looked around for a seat when we found our place me and my friend went off to see if we could find any bargain records which we did, we meet an old German lady who was very friendly. We then went back to our table and began to sit back relax and soak in the area for a while.

Then after a while I had my very first Kartoffelpuffer which is like a very, very greasy potato cake before me and Phillip went off to buy some Fairy Floss. It was the first time that Phillip had ever had any and it he said that he enjoyed it.

Then the music went down and a New Zealand musical group came out to “entertain” us, I can only speak on my behalf but personally I hated it nothing but a couple of people slamming drums screaming out loud and dressed up in feathers. This was enough to send me inside back to sounds of Accordions and the clicking of shoes to the dance floor.

Soon after we left back to Phillips house where we spent the rest of the night on his computer showing each other videos on YouTube and talking about random things. All in all it was a great day and I hope that I get to experience it once again soon! Thanks to Phillip and his family!
