Geeks and their computer specs

Do you think that Geeks and there computer specs have a relationship between each other that causes them to act the way they do online? Well I thought that I would ask the community at Geeks! On that they thought about my little hypothesis.

Michael Wagner "No way, it's just the person's personality shining through. Some people are miserable about everything in life. Operating systems means nothing. Most my computers are capable of running about any operating system. I'm on Ubuntu by choice."

Robot Bride
"I'd say that people with higher specs are more likely to have experimented with both OS's and recognised the pros and cons of both. I'm sort of mid-range spec wise, so while deep down I know that the whole argument of Mac VS PC is immature and pointless, I've got this screaming voice inside me roaring prejudice against Macs.
Have I ever used a Mac? No. Bingo."

"I don't think so myself. I believe it all begins and ends on the individual's personality. These accounted for purchase-able computer specs are based on preference and access to funds. Inferred necessity and tech knowledge are other good factors."

I-Love-64-Bit "I think you have a point in what you say. I have a quite nice computer myself and can try basically every OS out there (not OS X) without a problem. I have Vista Ultimate 64-bit on my desktop. I like it and it works for me. I tried Ubuntu as well but the programs didn´t work the way I wanted."

The community gave back a strong indication that I was thinking correctly. They did say it was not due to the computer specs, more due to how they present themselves and how their good and developed their social skills are. From asking the people at Geeks! I found that people agree with me but not everything about it.

All in all computer specs do effect how people act online but the way you talk and present yourself will always be the main factor in how you are taken online.

Thanks for reading all, please drop a comment down below to "word" your opinion. Have a good one!

Yea, I also think that specs don't influence people TOO much, but we've seen sometimes it can. For instance... we've seen this one a lot: "I have a mac, you have a pc you suck" :|
