Why I went from iGoogle to Google Reader

Recently I have moved from iGoogle (which is a fantastic tool) to Google Reader because of all the RSS feeds I started to read and comment on. When I used to use iGoogle it would take me an average of an hour to get on top of all my RSS feeds, news, YouTube videos, MySpace, ect but now that I'm using Google Reader the time it takes me to read and reply to things has been cut down significantly.

I upgraded because of three reasons, one was because of a friend of mine (Phillip Nadvesnik) who also uses it, I also wanted to cut down time in my schedule and I went to Geeks! And asked "iGoogle or Google reader?" People that commented where mostly in favour of Google Reader and so I thought to myself "Why not"

So yesterday I sat down and set it up, it took maybe 10 mins and the end result was very pleasing. Google Reader is a WIN! In my books.

Thanks for reading all, Have a good one and Merry Christmas!

My Lazy Sundays

No not that site, this is about my holidays and what I expect to happen up until Christmas.

Grammar Nazi

For now I have finished the 2008 school year and I am doing well. I still haven't typed anything for the tech lunch which is a bummer big time but I've had exams and then I've had to change all this stuff. But lately I've had some lazy, lazy days in front of my computer.

I've found a new program and I love it, it's called Picasa (maybe you've heard of it? :P)I think that not only does it have complete

OWNAGE! Over windows photo viewer but it gives your computer the handy old "Look what I can do, I am so much better at you" trick. I've used it without a hitch and all seems to be working greatly I think that it'll be on my computer for at least another few versions but right now I am thrilled with it. I've also found this guy on twitter he is a one line comedian or something everything he posts make me literally "lol" I don't know his real name but his user name on twitter is "that nick guy" so his name is probably Nick anyways if you like what he is posting then follow him (click here for profile).

This Christmas and birthday I am hoping to get a quad core computer (and if I don't I assure you Santa is going to have a bad accident) this will allow me to finally not have to worry about upgrading my computer for years and will let me use it with hardly any lagging at all. Unfortunately it will Vista 64 bit, this is unfortunate no because it's Vista (Vista is a great OS IMHO) it's because I've never used a 64 bit processor in my whole life and I'm not sure if every program is going to be compatible with it, but I guess I'll just have to work something out anyways.

Well that was my random post to let you all know that I'm not dead... yet, and just an update. Thanks for reading all have a good one. And also I do realise that the hyperlink to Nick is random it was meant to be like that.
